‘TODAY’ EXCLUSIVE: Angelina Jolie Confirms She’s Having Twins
CANNES, France --
It’s twins for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt!
In an interview that took place in Cannes on Wednesday with the “Today” show’s Natalie Morale, airing Wednesday night on Access Hollywood and in full on Thursday on “Today,” Angelina confirmed the baby news that has been rumored for months.
The twins will be the couple’s 5th & 6th children.
Angelina confirmed the news in a side-by-side interview with Jack Black — they are promoting their new Dreamworks animated film, “Kung Fu Panda.”
Jack was the first to let the news slip, and then Angelina followed up with her own confirmation.
“You’re gonna have as many as (the) ‘Brady Bunch’ when you have these,” Jack joked.
“It’s confirmed? Is it two?”, Natalie asked.
“Yeah, yeah, we’ve confirmed that already,” Angelina responded. “Well, Jack’s just confirmed it actually.”
“Is that true?”, Jack said jokingly.
“Yeah, you did,” Angelina replied.
“Sorry,” Jack concluded.
“So you’re having twins?”, Natalie asked, as Angelina nodded with a ‘yes.’
“Do you know the sexes of the babies”, Natalie asked. “Or, are you keeping that private?”
“We would like to keep that private,” Angelina said.
“Are you going to stay here in France to deliver?”, Natalie also asked at one point.
“Possibly,” Angelina responded. Angelina also talked extensively with Natalie about her family — how her kids are all very proud of where they’re each from.
She says that all of her kids loved watching “Kung Fu Panda.”
Now, for Angelina’s due date, tune into the “Today” show tomorrow morning.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Simon Cowell was, yet again, right. “American Idol’s” season finale will be a battle of the Davids – David Archuleta vs. David Cook.
After 56 million votes were cast, the lone female left in the competition – Syesha Mercado – failed to match the numbers of the Davids, and was sent home following an emotional hour of television in which the Top 3 visited their home towns.
“There’s too many words,” Syesha said after host Ryan Seacrest asked her for her parting comments. “I don’t know what to say. I just want to say thank you… just thank you.”
Before Syesha learned she’d be going home, David Archuleta was the first to receive the news that he was heading to the ‘Idol’ finals, to be held this year at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre.
“Oh my gosh. Wow,” the 17-year-old mouthed as he stood on stage stunned.
David Cook came over and hugged the teenager as the young man’s father, Jeff Archuleta, cheered and hugged family and friends in the audience.
When Cook was given his good news, he received a hug from Syesha.
During the broadcast, Cook shared the story that he didn’t originally plan to audition for “Idol.” It was actually his younger brother who was hoping to make the show. Cook had simply come along for moral support when a film crew started interviewing him, prompting him to test out his pipes in front of the judges.

Lawsuit Accuses Paparazzi of Luring Heath Ledger to Drug Party

OLLYWOOD - A new lawsuit claims Heath Ledger was set up by two photographers who secretly filmed the late actor snorting cocaine in a Los Angeles hotel room.
In legal documents filed by an unnamed woman in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, two Splash News paparazzi stand accused of luring Ledger to her room at the Chateau Marmont hotel in January 2006. Eric Munn and Darren Banks allegedly then gave cocaine to the actor while secretly videotaping him. Ledger, who had no idea they were photographers, also had some cocaine of his own, according to the lawsuit.
Ledger eventually noticed he was being filmed and allegedly became angry, at which point he was promised the tape would be destroyed.
It wasn't, and a segment of it was screened on TV show Entertainment Tonight shortly after his death from an accidental prescription drug overdose in January. The full tape was never aired after numerous celebrities pressured producers to drop the video.
The woman, listed as Jane Doe, refuses to reveal her identity for "fear of consequences and repercussions." The legal papers do, however, state she was working as a freelance reporter for People magazine and that she was "occasionally dating" Dunn at the time.
The woman, who People states has not worked for the magazine since last year, claims the videotape makes it appear as if she was snorting cocaine.
Munn, Banks and Splash News managing partner Gary Morgan are being sued for fraud, negligence, trespassing and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

LOS ANGELES:
Charlton Heston, who won the 1959 best actor Oscar as the chariot-racing “Ben-Hur” and portrayed Moses, Michelangelo, El Cid and other heroic figures in movie epics of the ‘50s and ‘60s, has died. He was 84.
The actor died Saturday night at his home in Beverly Hills with his wife Lydia at his side, family spokesman Bill Powers said.
Powers declined to comment on the cause of death or provide further details.
Heston revealed in 2002 that he had symptoms consistent with Alzheimer’s disease, saying, “I must reconcile courage and surrender in equal measure.”
With his large, muscular build, well-boned face and sonorous voice, Heston proved the ideal star during the period when Hollywood was filling movie screens with panoramas depicting the religious and historical past. “I have a face that belongs in another century,” he often remarked.
The actor assumed the role of leader offscreen as well. He served as president of the Screen Actors Guild and chairman of the American Film Institute and marched in the civil rights movement of the 1950s. With age, he grew more conservative and campaigned for conservative candidates.
In June 1998, Heston was elected president of the National Rifle Association, for which he had posed for ads holding a rifle. He delivered a jab at then-President Clinton, saying, “America doesn’t trust you with our 21-year-old daughters, and we sure, Lord, don’t trust you with our guns.”
Heston stepped down as NRA president in April 2003, telling members his five years in office were “quite a ride. … I loved every minute of it.”
Later that year, Heston was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor. “The largeness of character that comes across the screen has also been seen throughout his life,” President Bush said at the time.
He engaged in a lengthy feud with liberal Ed Asner during the latter’s tenure as president of the Screen Actors Guild. His latter-day activism almost overshadowed his achievements as an actor, which were considerable.
Heston lent his strong presence to some of the most acclaimed and successful films of the midcentury. “Ben-Hur” won 11 Academy Awards, tying it for the record with the more recent “Titanic” (1997) and “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King” (2003). Heston’s other hits include: “The Ten Commandments,” “El Cid,” “55 Days at Peking,” “Planet of the Apes” and “Earthquake.”
He liked to cite the number of historical figures he had portrayed:
Andrew Jackson (“The President’s Lady,” “The Buccaneer”), Moses (“The Ten Commandments”), title role of “El Cid,” John the Baptist (“The Greatest Story Ever Told”), Michelangelo (“The Agony and the Ecstasy”), General Gordon (“Khartoum”), Marc Antony (“Julius Caesar,” “Antony and Cleopatra”), Cardinal Richelieu (“The Three Musketeers”), Henry VIII (“The Prince and the Pauper”).
Heston made his movie debut in the 1940s in two independent films by a college classmate, David Bradley, who later became a noted film archivist. He had the title role in “Peer Gynt” in 1942 and was Marc Antony in Bradley’s 1949 version of “Julius Caesar,” for which Heston was paid $50 a week.
Film producer Hal B. Wallis (“Casablanca”) spotted Heston in a 1950 television production of “Wuthering Heights” and offered him a contract. When his wife reminded him that they had decided to pursue theater and television, he replied, “Well, maybe just for one film to see what it’s like.”
Heston earned star billing from his first Hollywood movie, “Dark City,” a 1950 film noir. Cecil B. DeMille next cast him as the circus manager in the all-star “The Greatest Show On Earth,” named by the Motion Picture Academy as the best picture of 1952.

10,000 B.C. is a prehistoric love story, about a young man trying to rescue his kidnapped girlfriend.Themovie begins with the great narrator Omar Sharifabout the spirting sand nature, that goes on forever & ever..which has no bearing onwhat comes next.

The movie’s best feature is its massivelandscapes on this journey. And, so it is in 10,000 B.C., where avariety of off-the-rack plot points and generic heroic journeys are decorated with computer-graphics like the mammoths and saber-toothedtigers.

The trailer was really awesome with stunning visuals of mammoths and huge animals but that was the only good part of the movie. This is a film that makes you feel a bit uneasy as you watch it.

It’sprobably because its story too unreal and not enough fantasy, that and many of the action scenes and plot points we’ve seen before in otherfilms. There’s just nothing to justify a big screen viewing--- and that’s a disappointment considering that this was suppose to be a grand historical piece action film.Roland Emmerich is up to his old tricks with this one.

For those of you that have no idea who Emmerich is, he’s the guy that brought such deliciously bland classicsas Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow etc.
